Ensure all times are adequately covered. -Safeguard and ensure consistent adherence to all ARC house rules and policies. -Conduct residence and program orientation for new beneficiaries that includes a facility tour and review of emergency procedures. -Lead weekly House Meetings. -Supervise the medication call. Ensuring beneficiaries record medication in medicine log, according to policies and procedures. -Respond appropriately to routine questions and inquiries from beneficiaries or refer them to appropriate staff. -Provide safe transportation for beneficiaries as need/assigned being sure to follow all procedures for operation of motor vehicles. -Respond to emergencies according to established procedures. Report situations to the DRS/MRS or Administrator and make written incident reports and Safe From Harm reports if necessary. -Implement, monitor, coordinate and attend leisure time activities both in center and out (concerts, athletic events, etc.) - Responsible to train, schedule and supervise beneficiaries assigned to work therapy assignments such as janitorial crew, front desk or similar. -Participate in in-service trainings and workshops to enhance professional skills. -Conduct bed checks at appropriate times. -Administer drug and alcohol breathalyzer or urinalysis tests to beneficiaries -Report and document violations of center policies to Administrator and appropriate Program Staff. -Complete daily reports and electronic data entries which include beneficiaries admitted, terminated and unusual or otherwise noteworthy after-hours incidents. -Assess spiritual needs of beneficiaries and refer to Chaplain/Administrator as needed. -Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army. -Other duties as assigned. |
