Responsibilities
What You Will Do We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a good understanding of communications, loves good and clever writing, and managing projects. You are a good communicator, have a global mindset, and are fascinated by technology. The position will be a services portfolio intern. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and will be proficient with digital tools such as Power Point, SharePoint, Adobe suite and MS Forms. As a services portfolio intern for the Services Portfolio Management team your main responsibilities will include:
- Partner with Portfolio Managers to build and execute program plans for all relevant internal and external audiences to help drive key objectives.
- Collaborate with the team as they balance regional and global requirements that drive Services portfolio strategy and roadmap.
- Help oversee the lifecycle of projects to ensure the successful development and delivery of service offerings within specified timeframes. This includes planning, executing, and closing projects, while managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to drive effective outcomes.
- Be the key content creator and competitive researcher in support of the Services Portfolio Managers. Work with the KGSO Portfolio Management team to ensure that competitive content is communicated through vehicles available: both delivering internal communications and working with the Marketing on any external communications plans
- Support the management of a competitive intelligence repository by ensuring it remains current and easily accessible, providing detailed information on the service capabilities of our major OEM competitors.
- Work effectively with colleagues and leaders at all levels of the business.
- Technical marketing is of interest to assist with the go-to-market plans for solution services projects

- You are highly motivated to challenge yourself, build on your foundational skills and broaden your expertise around technology, marketing, and portfolio strategy.
- Self-starter and collaborator who can work independently or in a team environment and is willing to take on new challenges (growth mindset).
- You have a proven track record of successful, creative communications and content development with college projects.
- You are able to build project and communication plans - strategic and tactical - and play an active role in their execution and measurement.
- You have an interest in technology and engineering as writing topics.
- You are highly responsive and accountable in your team.
- Ability to communicate professionally with strong presentation skills and well-written responses to emails. Excellent written English language skills and the ability to synthesize concepts.
- Proven planning and organization skills, including time management.
- Collaborative team player with a positive approach to working with others.
- Possess the ability to work well in a remote environment, able to focus on tasks and manage projects to tight deadlines.
