YOUR DAY TO DAY:

The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for executing and managing a portfolio of complex projects related to supply chain execution. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams and the Program Manager to ensure project completion, adhere to timeline and scope requirements, and successfully execute programs while communicating regularly to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day:



  • Defines, plans and coordinates work teams including coordinating the activities of cross- functional teams by leading through influence to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Participate in collaborative project review meetings to highlight significant updates, assessing Supply Chain related risks and risk mitigation plans while providing project status to key stakeholders.
  • Motivates effective project teams; communicating effectively across teams and groups; coordinates as necessary to address changes and/or shifting needs.
  • Manages projects through to completion ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining overall project ownership to assigned projects.
  • Develops timelines, and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks and communicates critical Supply Chain related project achievements and/or risks.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to set budgets, identify, prioritize activities to document savings on Bills of Materials.
  • Acts as a primary Supply Chain point of contact for designated projects participating in project update meetings, and written communication and reports to inform stakeholders of progress.
  • Uses designate process mapping, tracking and assigned tools for project life cycle management to meet business needs.
  • Ensures time and resources align with business prioritizes and objectives and escalates project risks to manager as appropriate.
  • Addresses Supply Chain related problems through risk mitigation and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to Program Manager, Senior Operations Manager and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of solutions/changes.
  • Deliver results for each project through leadership and partnership with cross-functional teams and by working directly with various stakeholders across the Company.
  • Drives process improvement, and adherence to company project standards for assigned projects
  • Recommend strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to coordinate and manage projects and other related business requirements.
  • Build constructive business relationships with all stakeholders, including 3rd party vendors.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.



You Are the Right Person for This Job If You Have:



  • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in Project Management leadership and 6 years in a supply chain related field
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Project management experience with Procurement, Production, Supply Planning and Scheduling
  • Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a very fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects and/or components simultaneously
  • Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop win-win solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply management, government contractor purchasing requirements, and the ability to apply Export Compliance in procurement activities.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).


    Preferred experience:



    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or CPPM (Certified Professional Purchasing Manag) Certification preferred
    • Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems is a strong plus.
