Facilities Management at the University of Virginia (UVA) is seeking a Geospatial Space Technician to join the Geospatial Engineering Service Team. This position will provide geospatial support for creation and updating of floorplans for over 18 million gross square feet of university space. Additionally, the technician assists with space data maintenance and works closely with the Space Project Manager in the development of tools to support strategic space planning. UVA Facilities Management supports the University of Virginia's wide range of research, academic and patient care programs. With 1,200 employees, Facilities Management is responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair and maintenance of UVA's buildings, infrastructure and grounds as well as other University-owned and leased properties. Facilities Management comprises four core areas of expertise: Operations, Construction & Renovation, Health System Physical Plant, and Energy & Utilities.
