About MSU Denver MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. About the Department of Nutrition The Department of Nutrition at MSU Denver aims to prepare diverse students for successful careers in food, nutrition, and dietetics by providing quality education that is culturally sensitive and instills a desire for lifelong learning. This department is home to award-winning faculty and staff, who prioritize students and provide opportunities to grow and learn in the field of nutrition and dietetics. The Department of Nutrition houses undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Science in Nutrition. The Department is also home to accredited programs, including undergraduate and graduate-level Didactic Programs in Dietetics (DPD), a Dietetic Internship Program, and a Pathway Two Lactation Training Program. Position Summary The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is a member of the Department of Nutrition's Office of Student Services team. The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for marketing the Department of Nutrition's programs and recruiting new students into the programs. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing program activities which enhance student engagement, academic success, retention, and graduation of eligible students. Responsibilities Marketing and Recruitment - 50%

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is $41,200 - $61,800. The anticipated hiring range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $51,000 - $60,000.
