Responsibilities

  • Performs Echo & Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult and geriatric
    patients in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination by complying with
    established policies and procedures
  • Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with doctors,
    nurses and all other individuals providing care to your patient, to ensure accurate and timely
    performance of all echo/vascular ultrasound procedures
  • Participates in quality improvement activities (including departmental adherence to ICAEL/ICAVL
    standards) by participating in the collection and organization of data to ensure quality is
    consistent with established standards
  • Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational
    activities to promote improvement and compliance with ICAEL/ICAVL standards
  • Provides customer service by utilizing communication skills to ensure organizational objectives
    and mission is maintained
  • Maintenance and care of equipment within the department

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to perform all general, OB, and vascular procedures according to protocol, certification and licensure
  • Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 90 days of hire
  • BLS Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
  • Registry Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound
