Staff Accountant

OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will maintain and manage financial records and analyze financial data trends, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting is mandatory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Manage the integration of acquired entities into the company's financials, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently, contributing to the transition to a new financial software system, including data migration and system testing.
  • Additional projects assigned by the Accounting Manager.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Minimum of one year of experience.
  • Expert in Excel and creating Pivot Tables and Look-up Tables.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite is a plus.

SCHEDULE:



  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:45pm
  • Work Location: In office. Hybrid may be available after 90 days with manager approval.
