Superintendent-Quality Onsite Full Time American Canyon, CA SUMMARY The Superintendent-Quality reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for carrying out goals and KPI's in support of the Westlake Roofing and Stone manufacturing business. The Quality Assurance Superintendent will be responsible for playing a key role in promoting principles of quality assurance and best practices within the organization. The Quality Assurance Superintendent will have a team of direct reports and will provide direction, technical support and implement corrective action to ensure conformity to product specifications and prevent quality issues. The individual acts as a liaison between Sales, Quality Assurance, Production and the customer, conveying all information relative to product quality. The person also supports production with deployment of QA resources in all areas of need, supports lean initiatives through data collection and statistical methods that improve production efficiency and quality yield, understands customer needs and end use of their products so proper inspection and training methods are implemented and effective. This individual also acts as the voice of the customer and is knowledgeable of certification programs and maintain them for compliance. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay range for this position is $90K to $130K. This range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
