Core Immigration Services:
IRC's core immigration department
provides legal services to resettled individuals and other qualified members of
the community.
This department assists with applying for
family reunification, adjustment of status, and citizenship.

Interns Responsibilities:
The intern's primary point of contact
will be the department's head of Core Immigration Services
Interns can expect to work in person with
clients, use translation services, and assist clients in applying for green
cards, and other documentation. Help with general organization around the
office.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain
greater insight into the resettlement process for refugees in the Dallas area.
Interns would become functioning members of our legal team, and work closely
with our refugee population. If you are looking for law firm experience, this
internship is for you.

This is an unpaid position


Minimum Qualifications:Requirements
Must be able to come into our Dallas
office and work at least 15 hours per week during the 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
workday. Applicant needs to have an interest in pursuing legal work.
Check with your school's Internship
Coordinator BEFORE accepting the hiring offer to determine if this position
satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.
