Job Description

The Associate, Financial Analysis plays a critical role in the Asset Management department, supporting financial planning and analysis activities, and helping drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, conducting financial research, preparing reports, and providing valuable insights to drive business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated cash flow projection models to support asset management initiatives, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide insights into financial performance.

  • Power BI Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into financial performance.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Reporting: Generate and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making processes and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Data Management: Maintain and analyze financial data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for reporting and analysis purposes.

  • Business Support: Collaborate with business units to identify key financial metrics, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for performance improvement.

  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, addressing specific business needs and providing actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. MBA, CFA or graduate degree is a plus

  • Knowledge of Yardi and Real Estate industry / terminology is a major plus

  • Minimum of four years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.

  • Demonstrated experiences in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$94,050.00 - $156,750.00
