Under the general supervision of the Director, the NASP Program Coordinator implements and evaluates cultural and educational programs/events, assists in leadership development activities, and coordinates programs/events with other campus departments/faculty raising awareness and promoting dialogue and understanding about the Native American experience. The specialist collaborates with the Director to identify students interests, issues, needs, concerns, and develops and implements projects in response. The Program Coordinator also serves as an adviser to various student organizations, including the Native American Student Council. The Program Coordinator will develop and implement strategies of retention for current UCR students and outreach to prospective UCR students. In addition, the Program Coordinator prepares material for NASP's website and quarterly newsletter, prepares written reports and evaluations on events/programs, and activities.
The full salary range for the Native American Student Program Coordinator is $56,000 - $96,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $56,000 - $62,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
