Title:Spring 2025 - Ethics & Compliance Student The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study. Position Summary/Details: The Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Intern is responsible for assisting the E&C team with a number of programs that foster an ethical and compliant corporate culture. The E&C Intern assists with various responsibilities which may include: TECO Policy tracking, administration and reviews for ethics and compliance programs, and performing E&C administrative functions such as preparing meeting minutes, quarterly metric reports, etc. The E&C Intern must understand business ethical principles, and demonstrate the highest level of conduct, objectivity, independence, and confidentiality. Physical Location of Co-op: 702 N Franklin St Tampa FL 3362 Working Conditions: Mostly in a normal office environment Required Availability: Part - Time (20-30 hours) OR Less than 20 hours QUALIFICATIONS: Education: The successful applicant should be enrolled in an ABET accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
