You will oversee domain area workflows and lead team efforts on content and data projects for the Operations team. You will manage workflows, manuscripts, content integrity, print, and vendor outsourcing.
What you will do:
Lead content and data projects for Operations team, creating and overseeing associated workflows. Perform lead duties, including assessing project scope, assigning tasks, training, coordinating staff efforts, tracking progress, maintaining schedules and up-to-date documentation. Use productivity tracking tools to create tickets, maintain records, and monitor project status. Ensure domain area tasks are accomplished with maximum efficiency, particularly in deploying internal resources. Bring deep and nuanced understanding of complex publishing workflows, with substantive expertise in tools related to those workflows. Coordinate and serve as domain area point of contact with other teams, business units, and outside vendors (e.g. C&A, Product, Global Data, Bloomberg INDG Engineering, etc.) as project requirements dictate. Independently develop creative and innovative solutions to domain area problems. Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelors' degree in business or data analytics or equivalent experience. 4 year' experience in an appropriate combination of publishing and/or project coordination experience, serving in lead capacity. Proficiency and contextual understanding in Bloomberg Industry Group publishing system tools (including SGML, XML, Arbortext, BDMS, Excel, Anthology, Oxygen), word processing and presentation tools (Acrobat Pro, Word, Powerpoint). Substantive domain area understanding (SGML and XML tagging, publishing systems and workflows, business unit content collections, and customer expectations).
You need to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent. College coursework preferred.
- Minimum 4+ year' experience in an appropriate combination of 1) using PC-based word processing, 2) using operating systems, 3) related experience in the area of publication production.
- Minimum 3+ years' progressively responsible experience working in a Production Tech environment.
