SUMMARY Westlake is offering an opportunity to apply your experience and skills as a Maintenance Engineer based in Deer Park, Texas. This position concentrates on coordinating Westlake Crafts and Service Contractors performing maintenance and repairs at the Deer Park plant site. All activities are developed for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound repairs of the equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following:

The employee must be able to work in the plant environments where noise, dust, material handling equipment, and machinery will be present. Employee must be able to climb ladders and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment applicable for the tasks they will be asked to perform. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee may be required to travel less than 5% of the time. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
