Location: Salt Lake, UT

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

The analyst/associate will liaise with PWM teams, internal and external portfolio managers, Compliance, and numerous teams within Operations to setup and maintain managed accounts. The analyst/associate will oversee account setup, transaction processing, position and activity reconciliation, account status and attribute maintenance, and account terminations with the portfolio managers. Other duties include tax harvesting, launching new separate account strategies, and assisting with ADV mailing for external portfolio managers.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

Assist PWM Teams and clients with investments in managed accounts

Coordinate across portfolio managers on fundings, withdrawals, trading requests and account attribute changes

Perform position and activity reconciliations to mitigate risk

Mitigate risk across the managed account platform designing process improvements

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of work experience in Operations, Finance, or related field.

Strong focus on risks, controls, and attention to detail.

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet intraday deadlines.

Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work proactively with all levels including PWM Teams and internal and external portfolio managers.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment; able to work independently and as a self-starter as appropriate.

Strong analytical skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) as well as proficiency with web-based applications.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required
