Job Title: Production Team Lead

Location: Russellville, AR

Pay Rate:$28.00

Sign-on Bonus:$2,500 to be paid out as follows



  • $1,000 at 90 days
  • $1,500 at the 6 mths post commissioning - Dec 12, 2025 pay date


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Assist the Operations Leader in all areas of managing the assigned production crew to include the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, achievement of the highest standards of quality and productivity, and maintenance of established housekeeping expectations. Additionally, as the first-line crew leader, the Production Team Lead is expected to exemplify a generally positive attitude around safety and operations at all times.

As an operations team member, you will have many opportunities to extend your skill base and will be expected to accept responsibility and be accountable for contributing to the successful operation of the plant. We expect pride in workmanship and team involvement in ensuring a safe environment, eliminating waste, and working together to solve problems, make decisions and improve operations.

Reports to: Operations Leader


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct the daily activities of the shift.



  • Promotes safety of employees above all else to ensure each team member goes home safe each day.
  • Coordinates job assignments and activities of their team
  • Drives team members to deliver and maintain expectations and production targets around safety, productivity and quality.
  • Provides expertise and leadership to each functional area.
  • Assists and mentors during product changeovers and upset conditions.
  • Maintains and approves the vacation calendar and timecards for the shift.
  • Provides coaching and recommends progressive discipline to the Operations Leader in order to maintain high performing team.
  • Promotes and enforces good housekeeping practices throughout the plant.



Operational Support



  • Enforces Safety and Plant rules.
  • Covers breaks when manpower levels require.
  • Lead the operational training needs.
  • Partners with maintenance as needed to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Backfills shift assignments as needed.
  • Attends training sessions and meetings as required.



Communication



  • Leads the daily shift huddle.
  • Maintains the accurate flow of information through the proper use of standard forms including by not limited to Shift Reports, IPOP, SAP, Outlook
  • Communicates within a reasonable amount of time to the Operations Leader all associated shift problems, whether they be process, equipment, or people related.
  • Works to identify root cause and corrective actions for process or quality upsets.
  • Recognizes and Rewards Shift Milestones and exceptional employee performance.



All other job duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent


  • Minimum 3 - 5 years' work experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environment required.
  • Experience making high-impact decisions in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel on a routine basis.
  • Basic math skills to understand production statistics, quality requirements, and process variables.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • Must be efficient with computers and all Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Must have proficient experience with SAP and Kronos
  • First Aid and CPR Trained
  • Ability to navigate lab testing computer programs.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Travel will be heavier during start up as visit other OC plants to learn the business.
