Your Location: Lenexa, KS Job Summary and Purpose: Participate in the campus lean roadmap by leading key improvement projects in coordination with any functions of the site which increase industrial performances and develop the site's operational culture. Responsibilities and Key Duties: - Provide support to the digital transformation by participating in the definition and optimization of processes concerned. - Perform the training of all personnel on the CPS' tools and methods. Develop staff skills in applying CPS standards through coaching and feedback. Identify the training needs of staff and follow related training plans. - Participate in the management of investigations (impact evaluation, analysis, resolution, action monitoring). Select appropriate lean techniques and support teams in addressing issues and driving actions to generate measurable improvements. - In coordination with the department heads & team leaders, perform analysis performances of the various sectors, establish the diagnostics and follow the actions allowing the achievement of the defined objectives. Ensure respect of the project's budgets for which he is in charge. Participate in updating some budget standards (manhours, ....) and commit the necessary actions in case of discrepancies. - Support development of the campus governance system. Participate in continuous improvement reviews to track the execution of defined improvement projects and associated goals. Bring the necessary support to all the functions involved in the consolidation of campus indicators necessary for piloting. Carry out the necessary meetings and reports related to the OE roadmap and piloted projects. Communicate lean successes and participate in awareness programs to promote the use of CI and team initiatives. - Adapt to the shopfloor CPS tools and methods to ensure appropriation and ownership of employees. Ensure application of CPS standards by managers and employees by executing process confirmation, training and coaching to the overall organization. Develop the site's operational culture by carrying out initiatives from employees. - Participate in the definition of the campus lean roadmap and propose relevant projects to achieve defined objectives. Lead key improvement projects at campus level in coordination with any functions of the site which increase industrial performances such as reduction of cost, improvement of quality, customer service level, operational lead time and improve the flexibility of the processes involved. Technical / Functional Competencies: * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to flex with business needs * Self-starter and motivated by challenge; promote and drive change * Strong sense of teamwork with high level of individual contribution with exceptional attention to detail and organization skills * Able to communicate and work with teams at all organizational levels * Ability to learn new concepts, combined with common sense, and effectively apply to problem solving * Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment which demands flexibility and adaptability to changing targets * Promote and drive change * Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree in business or science related field Work Experience - One to five years of manufacturing experience, BioPharma preferred Other (consider certifications, specialized knowledge and/or training, etc.) - Preferred Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certified, understanding of life science or biologics production, USDA regulation, teaching/ speaking in a group setting, and knowledge of lean manufacturing Physical Requirements: * Ability to read, write legibly and communicate in English * Visual inspection Working Conditions: * Ability to qualify to work in a clean room environment when needed This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
