Platform Engineer Port San Antonio or Ft Meade MUST: Active TS/SCI clearance required Experienced Platform Engineer 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or related fields Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system design Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Experience working in DoD or government environments preferred Knowledge of networking and firewall configurations preferred Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). DUTIES: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platforms to support enterprise applications and systems Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning Integrate, monitor, and optimize cloud and on-premise solutions Ensure platform security compliance with DoD standards and maintain systems in alignment with cybersecurity best practices Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain high availability of systems Develop and document processes for ongoing maintenance and future scalability Ensure system performance monitoring and proactive issue identification Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
