Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus. Additional Department Summary: The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, dusting furniture, and cleaning restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors in academic, administrative and athletic buildings as well as on campus living spaces. Required Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders; must be able to reach and lift arms above head; must be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Valid U.S. driver's license.
