Responsibilities

The AD Custom Solutions Mechatronic team is seeking an experienced project manager with strong mechanical engineering background to support mechatronic test automation development and deployment. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a high quality test process while simultaneously lowering the cost of test for Keysight products. The ideal candidate will work on a collaborative, fast-paced team to manage complex projects from inception to completion.

  • Lead and manage a variety of mechatronic automation projects related to Keysight test and measurement production lines.
  • Work with the customer to develop the requirements of new systems.
  • Determine required resources for successful completion of projects.
  • Guide engineering team to design a system that meets the requirements.
  • Coordinate efforts between customers, vendors, procurement and other Keysight departments.
  • Ensure appropriate export control measures are in place for all projects.
  • Maintain schedules for each project including all milestones.
  • Provide weekly reporting on status of projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all Keysight required design standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Mechanical engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in project management
  • Must be organized and thorough.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, coworkers, and customers.
  • Proficient in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Can work independently or collaboratively as required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, CAD).
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication processes.
  • Must be a US Person.
