Job Posting Title: Slate Technical Analyst - Office of Admissions---- Hiring Department: Office of Admissions---- Position Open To: All Applicants---- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40---- FLSA Status: Exempt---- Earliest Start Date: Oct 14, 2024---- Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Dec 01, 2026---- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS---- Job Details: General NotesThe Office of Admissions is seeking to hire a Slate Technical Analyst to contribute to and assist in overall CRM operations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations in areas of recruitment, admissions, file review, marketing, and communications. This position is scheduled to end on December 1, 2026, with continuation in successive years possible beyond December 1, 2026 depending on funding, workload, and job performance. Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. PurposeThis position will work with the Office of Admissions Slate Team lead, the Senior Business Analyst, to manage Slate requests for the Office of Admissions and campus partners and work with the Office of Admissions and Academic Information System (AIS) Slate teams to ensure data integrity, evaluate current practices and create queries, reports, and workflows to maximize efficiency in Slate. Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree and previous experience with CRM, document imaging software, admissions and/or university software including Technolutions Slate. At least one (1) year of experience in training users in technical systems and process reviews to understand and best inform business users of system best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to represent the department with external constituents. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time; assist with the planning, installation and operation, and effective utilization of multiple software platforms. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, adaptable and proactive in problem identification and resolution, critical thinking and acceptance of improved technology and data collection, measurement, and presentation in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills must include proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsProficiency with building configurable joins queries in Slate CRM. Experience with SQL. Production experience with technologies such as HTML, XML, VBA, JavaScript, etc. Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, Stata, etc.) and/or data visualization software (Tableau, SAS Viya, etc.). Previous experience working in higher education admissions or related field with organizational processes preferred. At least two or more years working as a team member with experience in managing source formats, data validation and data export settings within the Slate CRM solution.
