Purpose The Core Curriculum Program Manager will oversee the University's core curriculum, ensuring institutional alignment and continuity of prescribed core competencies. Responsibilities
Master's degree in a field related to the work to be performed. Three years' experience coordinating or administering an academic program, including producing accurate reports, managing student records, and working across multiple stakeholder groups. Experience teaching or working with college students. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience in taking initiative and seeking solutions within boundaries of the role, including understanding when to rely on independent judgment and when to collaborate on decision making. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty and staff across multiple offices and levels. Professional demeanor. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsPhD in a field related to the work to be performed.Experience working with students, faculty, and staff at UT Austin and/or at a university in Texas.Two years performing degree audits at UT Austin.General knowledge of UT Austin course offerings and degree plans. Experience coordinating or administering a program which involved strict adherence to university and state policy requirements.Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education and/or core curriculum requirements, including assessment related to undergraduate curriculum quality.
