LSSI is hiring a full-time Mobile Crisis Counselor Case Manager, Monday through Friday, hours vary.To screen children for psychiatric hospitalization and provide intensive short term services to ensure stabilization.

EssentialFunctions:
  • Assess children, Adolescents, and/or adults in psychiatric crisis for hospitalization and facilitate hospitalization or safety plan at location of need.
  • Provide intensive short term community based counseling/therapy, family therapy, community support, and case management services to SASS/SASS CST clients.
  • Coordinate treatment with other service providers (School, PCP, Psychiatrist, DCFS etc.)
  • Certification in IM CAT and/or IM CANS
  • HFS required trainings (De-escalation, Crisis Safety Planning, Mobile Crisis Training)
Position Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social service or counseling field.
  • Ability to work with clients in the community.
  • Must pass a State of Illinois criminal and DCFS background check.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance, and access to an insured vehicle.
