LSSI is hiring a full-time Mobile Crisis Counselor Case Manager, Monday through Friday, hours vary.To screen children for psychiatric hospitalization and provide intensive short term services to ensure stabilization. The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! EssentialFunctions: Assess children, Adolescents, and/or adults in psychiatric crisis for hospitalization and facilitate hospitalization or safety plan at location of need. Provide intensive short term community based counseling/therapy, family therapy, community support, and case management services to SASS/SASS CST clients. Coordinate treatment with other service providers (School, PCP, Psychiatrist, DCFS etc.) Certification in IM CAT and/or IM CANS HFS required trainings (De-escalation, Crisis Safety Planning, Mobile Crisis Training) Position Qualifications: Master's degree in social service or counseling field. Ability to work with clients in the community. Must pass a State of Illinois criminal and DCFS background check. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance, and access to an insured vehicle.
