Senior Scientific Program Manager

Technical Requirements:

Scientific Program Manager

* Provide expertise needed to assist with the design and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to the organization's Safety and Biosurety programs.

* Monitors NIH policies and procedures and notifies leadership of changes that impact internal policies and procedures.

* Analyze current policies and procedures and suggest improvements.

* Analyze current programs and propose improvements or new initiatives to the FTL.

* As appropriate assist in preparing/ developing future strategic plan.

* Collaborate with upper management and prepare reports to keep them updated on new and ongoing programs and activities.

* Prepare and provide educational materials to staff.

* Work closely with senior leadership and management to develop new initiatives that further the goals as outlined in the strategic plan.

* Conduct pre-screening for new IRF staff entering the Safety and Biosurety programs.

* Complete an assessment regarding qualifications for continued participation in the Safety and Biosurety programs.

* Report findings from pre-screenings and assessments to the federal task leader.
