As the Senior Relationship Manager for Investment Resources for Private Markets, you are a client facing business development specialist for Capital Group's public private suite of products across top wealth management firm relationships. This position requires team collaboration across Wealth Management Sales Leadership, Product Leadership and existing Home Office client teams. You are responsible for delivering point of sale platforming expertise in representing Capital Group Public Private Solutions (PPS) to strategic client product and research teams.

As the Senior Relationship Manager focused on Capital Group's emerging Public Private suite, you will identify and create business development opportunities and manage ongoing relationships with Private Market (alternatives) Product Leaders and Research Departments. You'll focus on leading Capital Group expansion into private markets with experience across semi-liquid investment structures across private credit, private equity, infrastructure and private real estate.

You're motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them. You pride yourself on building meaningful relationships and establishing trust. You embrace collaboration and regularly contribute to group discussions, which helps you work skillfully with other senior sales force colleagues to identify opportunities for better investor outcomes.

  • You have proven experience in third party distribution within asset management selling directly at the home office client level and have proven relationship management experience with Product and Research Teams.

  • You have experience working with private markets strategies, and comfort to educate audiences on their benefits.

  • You have broad knowledge of Private Markets from a distribution perspective across vehicle structures, competition, pricing, platforming usage and established relationships across key firms.

  • You stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

  • You've experienced at developing and executing firm level business plans and executing a proactive engagement strategy with key relationship gatekeepers for private markets; strong attention to detail and high degree of self-motivation required.

  • You have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.

  • You have strong communication skills - verbal and written - and are comfortable presenting complex material in large audience settings.

  • You ideally have a CFA, CAIA and or degree in finance, economics, statistics or a relevant field of study.

  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of Investment and Financial Services Experience with proven sales and relationship management experience; preference for past work on key account or platform distribution teams working with firm home offices and with private markets experiences.

Base Pay Range

$180,000 - $260,000

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for applicable bonuses, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
