JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for multiple open-rank, teaching faculty positions in security analytics, cyber operations, and risk analysis beginning in January or July of 2025 at the University Park campus. These are non-tenure-line term appointments with an excellent possibility of renewal as multiyear appointments. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level and a desire to collaborate with IST faculty on curricular innovation and development efforts. Primary responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in residential, online, and/or hybrid modes. University service is also expected of teaching faculty. Applicants must have a master's degree or a PHD in information sciences and technology, security, cybersecurity or a related discipline by appointment start date with Penn State and a commitment to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds. Candidates will be considered for a teaching faculty rank commensurate with their education and experience in accordance with Penn State policyAC21.
