This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about advancing cancer imaging research. Position Overview: The Specialist will assist in the testing and evaluation of cancer imaging platforms developed in the Anwar Lab. We are looking for an organized, methodical, and reliable individual to manage the technical aspects of imaging studies, which include building test setups, working with cell labeling, standard microscopy, and conducting imaging experiments, including small animal studies. The Specialist will collaborate with other lab members, actively participate in lab meetings, and handle additional assigned tasks. Responsibilities will also include performing data analyses, preparing presentations for lab meetings, and contributing to the writing of publications and grants. Furthermore, the Specialist will be encouraged to take advantage of training and development opportunities available through the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Department of Radiation Oncology, and other UCSF-related entities.
