Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Professor Bernd Siebert in the research area of mirror symmetry and related topics. The expected opening is for Fall 2025. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to excellence in mentoring through teaching, research, and service. The appointment will be for three years with a teaching load of 1/1 per long semester. The annual 9- month salary is $60,000 with health and retirement benefits. In addition to the 9-month salary, the appointment offers three months summer salary with a total of $10,000 for each summer session (2026, 2027 and 2028).

To ensure full consideration for the academic year of 2025-26, all materials should arrive by December 1, 2024.

Qualifications

Ph.D. by July 15, 2025.
