JOB MISSION:

Closely partnered with the Finance Director of the Global Value Chain, this position handles coordinating the Value Chain Finance Team to deliver financial executables timely & effectively. Additionally, position will also be responsible to drive process improvement initiatives through further development of the MS D365 ERP "out of the box" system functionality & Oracle Cloud EPM. Position will not only work closely with the Finance organization, but will consult with IT, Value Chain personnel along with external organizations to maximize these process improvements. These improvements should incorporate the NB lean initiatives, improve process execution, reduce or eliminate non-productive activities and integrate technology to enhance reporting, business activity metrics and dashboards. Additionally, individual will help develop process flows, procedural documentation as well as exploit project management tools to evaluate success of various projects.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinate VCF team to timely & effectively meet all financial deliverables; month-end, causals, forecast, R&Os, budget, audit, reporting, etc.
  • Assist Finance personnel in the evaluation of existing processes to find opportunities for improvement within all areas of operational control.
  • Analyze, target and prioritize initiatives & projects.
  • Drive project management initiatives with lean process improvement focus.
  • Coordinate and manage procedural documentation for Finance Operations process flows.
  • Support Value Chain improvement projects and take part on cross- functional teams as necessary.
  • Work with Finance Director - Global Value Chain on the development of policies and processes in support of a control environment.
  • Proactively look for process improvements to streamline activities and workflow.
  • Support Finance departmental activities as needed.
  • Detailed analyses as needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • MBA preferred with 10 years progressive experience preferably in a financial operations environment.
  • Candidate must have a demonstrated analytical ability with sound problem solving skills and process orientation.
  • Project management skills are highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of ERP functionality is necessary.
  • MS D365 and Oracle EPM experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of operating management needed.
  • Must have the ability to influence and negotiate compromise for collective benefit.
  • Advanced technical skills on MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is needed with experience in BI tools a bonus.
  • Some travel may be required.

Flexible Work Schedule
