Title:Spring 2025 Government Affairs Student Position Summary/Details: The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional development while meeting the business needs of the company. TECO is seeking a detail-oriented Government Affairs intern to support the Government Affairs team. The intern will assist in research, analysis, and coordination of legislative, regulatory, and policy initiatives. Candidates should understand the legislative process, have excellent research skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. This position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field. Accountabilities: Support the Government Affairs team through a myriad of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Physical Location of Co-op: 106 East College Avenue, Suite 810 Tallahassee, FL 32301 Preferred Availability: Part - Time (20-30 hours) Working Conditions: Mostly in a normal office environment QUALIFICATIONS: Education: The successful applicant should be enrolled in an ABET accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
