PBBR Program Manager Vice Chanc Res Direct Office Full Time 81340BR Job Summary The Program Manager will manage all aspects of the UCSF Program for Breakthrough Biomedical Research (PBBR) and inter-related Basic Sciences Research Resources Oversight Committee (BSRROC) activity. The incumbent reports to the Program Director and is expected to independently formulate and execute a work plan to achieve the goals of the Program. The incumbent determines strategies and priorities for reaching goals and objectives and proposes changes to the goals. The incumbent manages all aspects of the program including financial, communications, implementation, oversight, administration, and strategy. The incumbent supervises one Financial Analyst 3 in this role. Detailed breakdown of tasks and effort, below. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $101,600 - $157,500 (Annual Rate). To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description The Office of Research provides leadership, direction, and management of campus-wide research administration, infrastructure and services and oversees the operations of the following units: International Research; Office of Sponsored Research which includes Research Management Services, the Office of Clinical Trials Activation, Government and Business Contracts and the Industry Contracts Division; Research Development Office; Research Resource Program; Institutional Animal Care and Use Program; Human Research Protection Program (HRPP); the Laboratory Animal Resource Center (LARC); Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S), and the Office of Clinical Research and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).
