The standard work schedule will be Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm during the Academic Year.

This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be based upon the needs of the department.

Job Summary

Coordinates, administers and implements Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) programs by providing operational planning, program management and evaluation, problem-resolution and technical assistance.

Essential Functions

40% - Performs program coordination and administration including operational planning, program management and evaluation, problem-resolution and technical assistance for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK), National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and other aspects of civic engagement and student life; Coordinates, implements and evaluates processes and procedures; implements program outreach and/or recruitment and retention activities; conducts surveys and/or analyzes and maintains program data to gauge program effectiveness.
25% - Advises student organizations on event planning, fiscal responsibility, travel and student policies; provides guidelines for initiation of college clubs/organizations/associations; collaborates with PTK and NSLS faculty advisors and national offices and provides program and policy advisement and related information; monitors and coordinates the provision of information and technical assistance regarding applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations; collaborates with Student Life director to develop, analyze, coordinate and implement functions and activities for various programs, clubs, and organizations in Student Life & Leadership.
25% - Creates and maintains drives, records, databases, and records for PTK and NSLS; monitors grant funding opportunities and administration, program expenditures and program regulations. Designs, develops, maintains and delivers program resource information, presentations, reports, correspondence, and promotional materials.
10% - Assists in coordinating and facilitating events and creating marketing materials. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs

OR

An equivalent combination of education and/or directly related work experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Two (2) years of experience in developing, supporting, or administering student or community programs, organizations, or clubs while collaborating with audiences including students, community, staff, and faculty
B. One (1) year of experience working with FERPA regulations or managing student information systems
C. Proven experience in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences across various formats and topics
D. Strong written communication and technology skills, including in Google Suite, MS Office, Canva, and other tools
E. Extensive experience in various aspects of event planning

Special Working Conditions

Evening and weekend hours may be required.
