Administrative Analyst Food Services Administration Full Time 81311BR Job Summary The Department of Nutrition & Food Services has units at several campuses including Parnassus, Mount Zion, and Mission Bay. This position, coordinates, advises, and provides information to department personnel. This person manages a high volume of sensitive and confidential human resource issues. Responsibilities include supporting Directors, Managers, and Supervisors with personnel actions, ensuring accurate and timeline processing of all human resource (HR) and payroll actions and documents, tracking and maintaining employee records, providing department training and new employee orientation, managing security databases, and assisting with other Business Office functions and conference services for Nutrition & Food Services. This role also provides financial support for cash handling processes, accounts payable, and miscellaneous support activities for the department. This person serves as the primary resource to the on-site Director for the Mission Bay (MB) campus and coordinates MB Business Office processes in conjunction with the other campuses The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $75,700 - $123,100 (Annual Rate). The department is comprised of three divisions: food service (room service style patient food service, retail food operations including cafes, quick service coffee outlets, a large-scale catering program with conference services, with supporting entities of culinary services, food procurement services, and a business office), retail services (gift and specialty shops), and nutrition services (inpatient and outpatient nutrition services for adults and pediatrics and a dietetic internship). The entities are primarily based at the three UCSF Health hospital campuses but also clinics throughout the Bay Area. The total department has 360 FTE with an overall operating budget of $54M.
