Design & Construction Management

Job Description

Basic Function & Responsibilities:

This position does the accounting for Design, Space and Construction Management on Revolving chart strings, General Operating chart strings, and several Plant chart strings and other duties.

Job Description:

  • Maintain, reconcile and image records on capital projects to include making payments to contractors and consultants, entering information in E-Builder, balancing Plant fund chart strings between income statements and all data entered in E-Builder, and moving budgets between lines in E-Builder
  • Preparing vouchers for contractors and consultants for construction projects that are not entered E-Builder. This position makes sure the payments agree with the contract amount or consultant amount to include checking date that vouchers to ensure payments, scanning and saving the payments under the proper work order numbers
  • Entering credit receipts into maintenance tracking software and preparing expense reports for department staff
  • Balancing CPM Revolving and department chart strings, preparing reports of income and expense for leadership
  • Training other employees on accounting functions in E-Builder
  • Checking work order in maintenance tracking software for Construction Uploads and Key Uploads to ensure Mocodes are correct and PeopleSoft Accounts are correct and then uploading into PeopleSoft
  • Reconcile monthly fuel report
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Construction Accounting experience preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.82-$19.40 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
