Job DescriptionThe Associate Manager, Admissions & Enrollment at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Admissions Advisors and Enrollment Coaches. This role provides strategic direction, enhances the enrollment process, and ensures the success of prospective and current students from application to graduation. The Assistant Director of Admissions & Enrollment upholds TSTC's core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Campus Enrollment, this role is pivotal in meeting enrollment targets, optimizing processes, and supporting student success.
Essential Functions:

* Consistently embody TSTC Core Values (Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity) when interacting with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and the community.
Leadership and Supervision:
* Supervise, coach, and mentor Admissions Advisors and Enrollment Coaches to enhance their performance and effectiveness. * Implement standardized admissions processes and practices to ensure quality of service and monitor performance metrics and their effects on enrollment numbers.
Strategic Enrollment Management:
* Assist in setting and monitoring new student and persistence enrollment goals. * Flex staff resources to meet enrollment targets and address barriers to enrollment at both the campus and statewide levels.
Collaboration and Outreach:
* Collaborate with internal departments (Admissions, Veteran Services, Financial Aid, Registrar's Office, Operations, and Student Services) to provide enhanced support to students and monitor progress. * Plan and oversee enrollment initiatives, regional events, and ambassador programs to increase college visibility and attract a diverse student body.
Student Support and Advisory Role:
* Manage a student caseload, addressing complex questions and troubleshooting needs related to enrollment, financial aid, and overall student progression. * Guide students through the admissions process, ensuring all requirements are met.
Technology Leadership:
* Provide leadership in the utilization of various software programs to review eligibility requirements, track financial aid status, and monitor academic progress. * Utilize online platforms and software to maintain student records, track activity, and generate reports on monthly engagement targets and semester admissions objectives.
Regulatory Oversight and Compliance:
* Stay abreast of FAFSA, FERPA, and relevant federal and state regulations governing student rights and information. * Proactively review changes to enrollment management policies and best practices, providing guidance to the team.
Training and Staff Development:
* Collaborate with the Enrollment team to identify and develop staff training needs. * Coordinate training and staff development, including professional development, compliance, and college mandatory training.
Data Management and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions, applications, and enrollments. * Use data to prepare reports on recruitment activities and their effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed.
Community Engagement:
* Visit various community locations, including high schools, to attend events, represent, and promote TSTC. * Provide information related to TSTC programs and applications.

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills
* Bachelor's Degree
* Exceptional experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
* 3 years experience in enrollment, admissions, sales, or a related field
