The Hand Hygiene Assistant monitors hand hygiene practices through direct observation without compromising patient safety; enters data into hand-held device; and download data into established program. Experience PREFERRED Previous work experience in a health care setting
Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED: Medical training or completion of a medical related program (e.g. CNA, medical assistant, etc.)
Independent action(s) required: Record hand hygiene data using iPod and iScrub application, send data reports to Hand Hygiene Coordinator and answer or refer questions regarding Epidemiology Department.
