Position Summary:
This individual works within the Facilities Department exclusively supporting facilities, Ranges and maintenance support at Sig Sauer Academy and has a wide range of responsibilities. The Facilities Technician reports to the Facilities Supervisor and must work well in a team environment and always keeps in mind that our goal is to support Academy operations, it's retail Pro Shop, administration and classroom infrastructure, and all other internal customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Monitor fire suppression systems including off hour phone response and physical reporting
*Meets with outside contractors and deliveries
*Under direction of the supervisor, oversee installation, inspections, repairs, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
*Using E-maint, completes maintenance requests for reactive and preventative maintenance.
*Ensures the contracted cleaning company is performing their function according to contractual obligations, recommends other work needed to keep all buildings as clean as possible so they reflect the excellence for students, customers and Academy staff.
*Performs landscaping operations as well as recommending additional work be done to ensure all grounds are kept at a level meeting or exceeding our customer's expectations.
*Maintains and documents all work in indoor ranges ensuring they are clean, safe and in peak performance.
*Works safely by wearing any required PPE.
*Monitors indoor and outdoor ranges for continuous improvement and safety.
*Monitors range ventilation system and perform reactive and preventative maintenance, changes filters, empties range lead.
*Picks up spent brass, any trash or items that should not be seen by our customers.
*Works with outside contractor and performs scheduled tasks to remediate berms, applying an environmentally engineered system.
*Performs preventative maintenance on building systems and mechanical equipment such as packaged heating/cooling units, ventilation systems, water filtration, roofing systems, etc.
*Repairs and maintains targets and targeting systems, retrievers, and steel
*Assists in maintenance of heavy equipment, snow blowers, landscaping equipment and fleet vehicles.
*Performs snow removal operations outside of contracted seasonal work
*Ability for weekend work periodically including emergencies, special events, scheduled shifts and extenuating circumstances
*May be called in during off hours for emergencies and/or weather related events.

Education, Experience & Skills
*High School diploma
*3-5 years' related experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or equivalent experience

Working Conditions:
*Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
*Work is primarily standing (90 + % of the shift) except for lunch and break periods.
*The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, sitting, stooping/squatting, walking, and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
*Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel frequently at a minimum of 50% of the shift, as well as undergo repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder, and ankle motions.
*Must demonstrate proficient fine motor skills, ability to grip, reach, pull, turn, and use tools to torque fixtures in various machinery or in the assembly, machining, or testing of parts.
*Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to focus on fine print.
*Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
*Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. security mandates.
