Job Summary

Step into a newly created, pivotal role as our IT Business Analyst, SAP EWM, and help steer Ingersoll Rand's digital transformation. Leverage your hands-on expertise in SAP EWM configuration and system design to develop a global roadmap for future SAP S/4 HANA Extended Warehouse Management
(EWM) sites.

Bring your deep knowledge of inbound processes, including ASN and non-ASN receiving, as well as POSC and LOSC configurations. Showcase your ability to design efficient stock removal and putaway strategies, optimize RF menu screens for inbound, outbound, and inventory, and create custom RICEF solutions with clear functional specifications.

This role requires a professional with proven interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining long-term relationships, coalitions, and networks. You will also need a strong background in managing external vendors for mutually beneficial partnerships, along with extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices, and audit compliance.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for SAP EWM implementation while serving as the solution owner and the key point of contact for EWM.
  • Design and configure SAP EWM solutions that meet the specific needs of our global operations.
  • Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP EWM configurations.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP EWM implementation and operation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP ERP systems, modules and third-party systems.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of SAP EWM solutions.
  • Collaborate with our SAP implementation partner to establish best practices for SAP EWM implementation and change management.
  • Contribute to the development of a multiyear plan for implementing EWM system globally in establishing the S/4 transformation journey for the enterprise.



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; MBA preferred, coupled with the proven track record of successfully leading at least two large-scale SAP EWM implementations, preferably on S/4HANA, within global enterprises over a minimum of twelve years.
  • Strong SAP EWM configuration and design skills (Inbound, Outbound and Internal processes)
  • Diverse integration and techno-functional knowledge of SAP EWM with SAP ECC modules such as SD, MM, PP, QM and non-SAP applications at architect level.
  • Functional proficiency in Implementations, Rollouts, Conversion and Upgrades of SAP EWM
  • Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, and security practices, audit compliance around logistics and warehouse management.
  • Business process knowledge in manufacturing industry - Plan, Make, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, Service and Finance.



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Remote USA office
  • Travel up to 25% travel
  • US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident



Key Competencies

Bringing strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse global teams, along with proven experience managing external vendors to build mutually beneficial partnerships, the following competencies are also required:
