CYFCT - Peer Counselor / Family Support Partner- South Team PEER COUNSELOR - Full Time 40 hours/week (10-hour shifts) Snohomish County Compass Health is currently looking for a Family Support Partner / Peer Counselor for our Child, Youth & Family Crisis Team! SUMMARY The Peer Counselor / Family Support Partner provides peer support services to clients under the supervision of the Program Manager. These services include assistance with stabilization, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development of community living skills. Who you'll be working with: The Child, Youth & Family Crisis Team (CYFCT) is a community-based outreach team with the ability to respond to and provide crisis services in the community (e.g., homes, schools, shelters). The Team serves children, youth, adolescents, and their caregivers who are experiencing a behavioral health (mental health and/or substance use) crisis regardless of their funding source. CYFCT offers short term crisis intervention and prevention services utilizing strength-based, solution-focused, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented interventions. What you will be performing This position will provide peer support services to clients under the supervision of the Program Manager. These services include assistance with stabilization, recovery, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development and maintenance of community living skills.
