Summary
St. Louis College of Pharmacy at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP) is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a 3-credit-hour Advanced Compounding elective course to students in the Pharm.D. program. Classes will combine didactic and laboratory instruction.

This course offers advanced, hands-on, laboratory-based training in contemporary pharmaceutical compounding techniques, which are supplemented by didactic sessions. It places special emphasis on the safety and efficacy of various drug formulations, including dermatologic and veterinary products. Furthermore, the course addresses the key legal aspects of pharmaceutical compounding, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Pharm.D. or Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline.
  • One year of active engagement in pharmacy setting with substantial compounding activities.
  • Three years of college-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly in written and oral form to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience with learning management systems, specifically Brightspace, is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with today's students.
  • Willingness to incorporate diversity, cultural competency, and social justice into teaching.
