Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MED-Psych & Behavioral Science We are looking for a street savvy, personable, and organized project staff member to locate and set up interviews with participants for the Northwestern Juvenile Project. The Northwestern Juvenile Project is a 30-year longitudinal study of the needs and outcomes of youth in juvenile detention as they age. Participants are now median age 43. This position will travel to last-known addresses throughout the Chicagoland area and within a two-hour driving radius to locate hard-to-find participants. They will also use various "in-office" resources, including online and record-based sources, social media, letter writing and phone calls to locate participants. They will invite participants for interviews, schedule their interviews, maintain the research study operations database, and coordinate activities with field interviewers. This position attends weekly team meetings and individual supervisory meetings. This position requires a reliable vehicle and auto insurance (mileage is reimbursed). This position ensures that all activities are completed following all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). This is a hybrid position. Working hours include: two weekday shifts (at least one in-office); two early evening shifts (e.g., 11 am -7 pm); and one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per week. Our office is located on Northwestern's Chicago campus. Full time preferred, but a part-time option is possible. Please include a cover letter to be considered for this position. Please note: Supervisor provides objectives, deadlines and specific instructions only for new, difficult, and/or unusual work. Target hiring range for this position will be between $19.89 to $27.97 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
