Responsibilities: Operates a press brake to produce precision parts from sheet and plate metal. Performs machine setup. Performs one or more steps in the production process. May produce large quantities of one-part or small batches or one-of-a-kind items. Plans out job steps referring to blueprints or written specifications. Performs housekeeping and standard preventive maintenance duties. Requirements: Preferred completion of a related trade school program. Experience in a job shop environment preferred. Proven skills in tooling selection, detailed blueprint interpretation, fabrication mathematics and quality controls to ensure customer requirements are maintained.
