The Department of Pharmacology at the University of Virginia seeks an experienced Lab Specialist Intermediate/Senior to help lead neuroscience research within the Laboratory of Dr. Mark Beenhakker. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support for research projects, engage in scientific experimentation, and undertake administrative responsibilities essential for the efficient functioning of the Beenhakker Lab. Job Responsibilities:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualified candidates will be considered for the following positions: Lab Specialist Intermediate Education: Bachelor's degree. Lab Specialist Senior Education: Bachelor's degree. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position can spend extensive periods of time standing and squatting while conducting experiments or caring for animals. Also requires keyboarding and other bench work and animal procedures requiring finer finger manipulation.
