Medical Research Job Description
The Sr. Business Operations Associate will work onsite managing the day-to-day operations and objectives in support of the assigned portfolio. The successful candidate must have proven ability to manage multiple projects and manage stressful situations in an environment which is deadline-driven, with a high volume of proposals and must possess good communication skills. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of current grants and contracts compliance regulations and policies at national, state and local levels. The ability to interpret and apply them to specific grants at the pre- and post-award level. Experience using electronic research administration systems (e.g., NSF Fastlane, grants.gov, eRA Commons). You should possess good professional judgment, a strong work ethic, and be able to appropriately prioritize project deadlines in a self-directed environment. In addition, you should have strong problem solving and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, a collaborative nature, and be able to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Strong Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills, are required. Research Administration experience is desirable. Strong analytical skills, budget preparation/grant preparation experience a plus. Anticipated Hiring Range
