Frame Builder Opportunity with Bernhardt Furniture

As a Frame Builder at Bernhardt Furniture, you will play a crucial role in our production process, constructing high-quality furniture frames, including sofas, loveseats, sleepers, and ottomans. This position requires working in a fast-paced woodshop environment, where you will ensure that each piece meets our stringent quality standards while adhering to all safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frame Construction: Build furniture frames with precision and care, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Tool Operation: Proficiently operate tools such as power drills, sanders, saws, and other equipment necessary for frame building.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules and practices to maintain a secure work environment.



What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of frame-building experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily, with constant use of arms, hands, fingers, and eyes. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving products weighing 150+ lbs. with assistance or team lift.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure every frame meets our high standards before delivery.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Proficiency in reading and comprehending English for safety and accuracy.
  • Work Ethic: Dedication to quality, efficiency, and time management.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
