Job Summary The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will be primarily responsible for the provision of the complete range of anesthesia care to patient presenting for cardiac surgery and minimally invasive cardiac structural cases performed in the catheterization laboratory or as needed. The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia care to patients presenting for non-cardiac surgeries and procedures, conduct education, resident's training, and quality assurance projects per the needs of the Anesthesiology service. Typical Duties Provides complete range of anesthesia care to all cardiac patients when needed, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic administration and monitoring and post anesthetic care in compliance with The Joint Commission standards. Provides Anesthetics and all anesthesia related procedures for Cardiac, thoracic, and minimally invasive cardiac Cath lab cases.
