This position is responsible for performing product assurance activities to ensure that the product meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by the customer specifications, drawings, & POs, as well as any applicable industry standards. In addition, this position may assist with many aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), First Article Inspection (FAI), customer audits, and third party audits such as Nadcap & AS/ISO.

Job Duties:

  • Review and disposition of non-compliant material.

  • Evaluation of process problems to determine root cause and corrective/preventative actions.

  • Assess and analyze current defect rates/trends.

  • Performs investigations, analyzes process problems and provides assistance in resolving problem areas.

  • Prepare reports, documents and procedures in support of QA efforts, updates as needed. Makes recommendations for change as required for more robust process control.

  • Work with operators, inspector(s), suppliers and Process Engineering on daily questions or issues that arise from general daily activities.

  • Enhances communication between supervisors and engineers regarding QA efforts by providing data, analysis, and recommendations for improvement.

  • Participate in corrective action activities and support customer requests and requirements

  • Support failure analysis activities as requested.

  • Performs special assignments as required, including but not limited to supplier audits and evaluations, defect reduction teams (DRT).

  • Familiarity with FMEA, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis and Error Proofing tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of 5+ years' practical experience and coursework preferred.

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, etc.

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO is a plus

  • Understanding of printed circuit fabrication is a plus

  • Previous Audit experience - Customer, Supplier, or Third Party Audit experience is a plus

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
