Clinical Research Coordinator MED-CORE-OCCM Part Time 81210BR Job Summary This project in the Division of Occupational, Environmental, and Climate Medicine (OECM) will support initiatives to identify workers at high risk for occupational disease from exposure to emerging hazards in the workplace. The long-term goal of this project is to protect vulnerable workers from illness, injury, and death from preventable causes in their workplaces. An initial priority will be to establish a California Silicosis Support Network (CSSN) that can provide critical services to workers in the engineered stone fabrication industry who are exposed to crystalline silica dust. Many of the exposed workers are low-wage, immigrant, and vulnerable to workplace exploitation.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). Zion), Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG), and the San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS). UCSF OECM has achieved national and international recognition as a center for research, training, and clinical care. As one of the few such Divisions based within a Department of Medicine (most academic units are housed in a Department of Preventive Medicine or a School of Public Health), UCSF's occupational, environmental and climate medicine presence is particularly noteworthy in US academic internal medicine.
