Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) The Performance Engineer Intern will provide analytical support for Calpine's 27GW fleet of natural gas power plants, covering many aspects of thermal performance including plant diagnostics, equipment optimization and testing. Interns' project results will be used to support business decisions for operations as well capital investment projects. Exact projects will be subject to the interns' individual skills and interests, the following is broad sampling of available business needs. Provide plant and rotating equipment performance assessments including identification of improvement opportunities.
