Application Window Open date: September 23, 2024 Most recent review date: Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Mar 23, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital, Associate Medical Director of Occupational Health Services (OHS) The UCSF Department of Medicine is seeking to fill the position of Associate Medical Director of Occupational Health Services (OHS) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital and Trauma Center. The position is primarily administrative and clinical but also has a teaching component (including supervising trainees). Research activities are not required, but are encouraged. As a faculty member in the UCSF Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine a contribution of a minimum of 50 hours annually in teaching and mentoring is anticipated, along with University and public service. The principal responsibility of this position is to oversee OHS for to the population for which it cares. This population numbers range between 20,000-30,000 personnel and includes the San Francisco City and County (SFCC) employees who work at ZSFG Hospital, other SFCC Department of Public Health employees, UCSF employees (for select services) and the employees of selected other SFCC departments. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine or have equivalent training or experience. Additional board eligibility in another specialty, in particular Internal Medicine, is advantageous. Excellent clinical and communication skills are required.
